They tortured to justify Iraq war

If this isn’t a hall mark of corruption, I don’t know what would be. Even knowing that torture was wrong and useless the Bush administration used it to give justification to fighting a war (Iraq) that was pointless.  That the justification to torture was founded off of lies is just down right sick.

The documents that Cheney alludes to exposing that would prove that torture works are probably no more than lies; especially since he is so adapt at spouting lies on a continuous basis. What is insulting, is knowing that Cheney is still getting on TV, grinning at the America people while lying. Cheney at his best is a psychopath and lives in a bubble if he thinks we believe his lies.  Cheney doesn’t want truth, he pretty much figured that he will get away with his crimes and is just juicing information for his memoirs.

Bush and Cheney are criminals and need to be brought to justice. This cover up by them and their party members must be brought to light.  The video below is a report from Keith Olbermann on the most stunning revelation yet about Bush’s torture program.  One of the key focus of Olbermann’s report was to highlight the real reason that torture was recklessly used was for the benefit of the Bush administration to find links between Iraq and 9/11 to boost the case for the Iraq war. I guess we can say that the Bush’s administration was fishing for links, real or imagined. WTF?

I remember not too many weeks ago we posted an article about the so called constitutionalists wanting to get back to following the constitution.  Funny, at TLPOS we’ve noted that we have not heard any of their voices regarding this matter.  You can hear crickets louder then any of those so called constitutionalists having a problem with torture.  Yet, I bet lot of them showed up for tea bagging day.  The only thing I’ve heard from their guru, Ron Paul, is about Texas being able to secede. It doesn’t matter if they are proving to be the conservative cowards they really are, the whole world is watching this story and those American citizens that still have their facualties intact will demand that these war crimes be brought forward and prosecuted.

The choice will be very simple, are we a nation that prosecutes it’s citizens for breaking laws and allow the leaders and the rich to get away with crimes, while putting those that followed the orders in jail; or do we prosecute all wrong doers?

We are still suffering as a country because of the action of the Bush administration. We can not turn our backs on what has happened in the past, which is nothing more than a sickness (formerly known as republicans).  This nonsense that is coming from the wing nuts  is just a double standard and shows that ethnically they have no morals.  The time has come for America to stop hiding and to stop brushing the dirt under the carpet. Making excuses and running from the truth is no longer an option.
