Give me a break. I respect McCain and his opinion, but was any one expecting a republican to stand up and say yes let’s investigate a republican president? The republican’s thought process of not releasing the memos is flawed for the simply fact that we already knew that torture was being employed. The releasing of the memos does not change that picture. It gives us the weapon to correct a wrong with viable evidence that Bush and his administration was corrupt and should be prosecuted.

If this isn’t a hall mark of corruption, I don’t know what would be. Even knowing that torture was wrong and useless the Bush administration used it to give justification to fighting a war (Iraq) that was pointless. That the justification to torture was founded off of lies is just down right sick.
