BP Is ‘Very Optimistic That The Gulf Will Fully Recover’
Well it should be comforting that BP feels the Gulf will survive the environmental hazard they have created.
I doubt the people who are suffering through this nightmare shares BP’s optimistic opinion.
…the approximately 60 million gallons of oil that have spewed into the gulf has already brought irreversible devastation to Louisiana’s precious coast, dragging BP’s reputation literally through the muck. (Source: The Wonk Room)

Republicans Forever Classy
You would think with the state of affairs that the republicans party is in, with no clear leadership — exception to Limbaugh, Teabaggers, and Becky-po — and no clear message or ideas, the republicans would at least take time to try to re-establish themselves. Not so. Once again they are participating in what they do best, cater to big business.
Corporate America is gambling on the minority in its political giving this year, assuming that Republicans will win big in the November midterm elections, an analysis of campaign finance reports shows…. The change comes as top Republicans lawmakers appeal more directly to business leaders, putting them on notice that the GOP is keeping track of the corporate donations ledger and will remember who stood by the party.
As part of an effort dubbed “Sell the Fight,” House Republican leaders have met privately with corporate executives and lobbyists to argue that their giving has tilted too far toward Democrats and that they need to steer more money to industry-friendly GOP candidates in key races in 2010.
“These corporate leaders and lobbyists have got interests and clients they need to look out for, and they are reading the tea leaves just like everyone else,” said Rep. Greg Walden (Ore.), the deputy chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, who has made several private pitches to corporate PAC leaders. (h/t Steve Benen)
Of course this is all being done with the audacious hope that the republicans win big in November. Yet, I get the feeling the republicans are not going to do as well as they are aspiring too, not with crazies like Rand Paul. The reason why the republicans are keeping tabs of which business help them financially, is so, you know, they can kill bills in the Senate that are bad for big business but protective of us.
Once again proving that republicans are not for the people, by the people or much less people.

Is This The Best They Can Do?
Is this the best that the lobbyist can muster? Come on this is a joke right? Big Government wants me to stop using my debit and credit cards because they want to lower the fees? Who in the hell, exception to consumers of shit zombies, are they kidding?
I’ll take a pass on telling congress to stay out of my wallet since they are not trying to get into my wallet, maybe into some super rich people’s wallets that can damn well afford it.
This is just a sorry promo for trying to stop Finance Reform.

Bush/Cheney The Gift that Keeps on Giving
I don’t know why Fox 24-hrs-of-lying-BS News think we should forget about the main person that put us in this hole? That might be fodder for their consumers of shit zombies that watch Fox, but the 70+% of us know better.
Come on, the man damn near collapsed our entire economy and now I should move on while his handiwork is still popping up? Move on my ass.
Sorry, no. Bush/Cheney left a mess the size of Jupiter and no, I will never forget all the parting gifts he left us.
I know it’s a conservative/tea bagger/republican wet dream to blame the new administration; but alas, Bush, the giver, has not finished giving us all the wonderful shit he set in place during his reign of idiocy that just happens to keep smacking us in the ass every time we turn around.

Obama: GOP Drove The Country Into A Ditch. ‘Now They Want The Keys Back’
Damn but the president nailed it. The GOP created this mess and now want to sit on the side lines telling everyone how to fix it without actually fixing any of the shit they created.
Bunch of screaming monkey bitches.

Bachmann: Bat Shit Crazy Lives On!
These republicans never stop with the wonky hate the government shit. If I was brain dead like some of the tea baggers I might listen and believe. But you know what? That crazy loon, Bachmann, works for the damn government. Which is it? Hate the government or just pretend Bachmann don’t work for that same government?
Let’s remember really what this is. This has a lot in common with Italy in the 1930s and they way Italy dealt with economics,” she said. “It still continues private ownership of business but government is in control.”
She continued, “So government control of the private business, while it’s private ownership, that’s still at the end of the day the federal government virtually having a say over private business. We lose freedoms; we lose economic competitiveness.” (Source: Huffington Post).
I mean really, Bachamann, you can’t have it both ways. If I hate the government, then I hate you too. Don’t give me the dictator shit, other wise Bachmann’s ass would not be there. What dictator allows opposition?
Damn if Bachmann doesn’t give bat shit crazy a persona that can easily be identified every time she opens her mouths.

The GOP Loves Their Strip Joints, I’m so Glad this Shit is Not on My Dime.
Well it’s official, The GOP’s 2012 convention will be held in sunny Tampa, Florida. And Tampa is known for its rampant strip joints. Now I wonder why the GOP, who should be supporting Arizona’s racist state, didn’t hold their convention in Phoenix? Maybe Phoenix doesn’t know how to shake their asses well enough?
Joe Redner, owner of the legendary Mons Venus — one of Tampa’s most highly acclaimed strip clubs — understands the importance of discretion.
That’s why he’s promised the utmost secrecy to any potential 2012 RNC Convention-goers who might end up at his establishment.
“Any time there’s a convention the clubs do well,” Redner told the St. Pete Times. “Some of them frequent clubs everywhere they go. Some of them are curious because it’s the Mons Venus. I promise I won’t tell anybody when they come into the club.”
The Republican National Committee landed in hot water this year after financial records revealed that GOP officials entertained themselves and guests at a bondage-themed nightclub in Los Angeles. (Source: Huffington Post)
I’m so damn glad I’m not a republican or a tea bagger either. I don’t want to pay for this shit.

Rep. Becerra asks Fox’s MacCallum whether she’s “trying to interview” or “argue” with him over AZ law
Time for some unrealistic Fox 24-hrs-of-lying-bs News. Not only is MacCallum not interviewing Becerra, she’s busy telling him what his state, LA, should not be doing.
This is not an interview about why LA took the position it took, its about MacCullum having the opportunity to tell Rep. Becerra how wrong LA is for taking that stance.
I guess LA should stop pandering to civil rights and get on board with blatant racism. Why? Because Faux News says so.
Just another opportunity for Fox 24-hrs-of-lying-bull shit News to pander to their unrealistic bat shit crazy nonsense.
The level of bat shit crazy on Fox has reached 100% by now, if not 125%.

And The Tea Bagging Monkeys Just Keeps Screaming
One of the sore points that the tea baggers have been campaigning on, since forever, is the higher taxes they are suffering through. Just recently the president indicated that they should be thanking him for lowering their taxes. Of course the conservative bloggers were outraged. How dare the president make such a statement. He was just trying to invalidate, per the tea bagging fools, the tea party (the new politically correct name, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha) and their valid complaint over the governments irresponsibility towards tax payers — that used every government paid for venue they could find to hold said protest.
How ironic that a new report came out to, once again, state that the clinically unhinged, screaming monkey, tea baggers should be thanking the president:
Federal, state and local taxes — including income, property, sales and other taxes — consumed 9.2% of all personal income in 2009, the lowest rate since 1950, the Bureau of Economic Analysis reports. That rate is far below the historic average of 12% for the last half-century. The overall tax burden hit bottom in December at 8.8.% of income before rising slightly in the first three months of 2010. (Source: Crooks and Liars — emphasis theirs)
Does the fake outrage (cloak for racism) ever end?

Sarah Palin: Ignorant or Just a Damn Liar?
I know Palin wants to keep her brain dead fan club consistently ignorant; but, I’m starting to wonder if she’s nothing more then a walking, breathing fucking liar.
Today she dared to tweet this:
But that’s not even remotely true:
In the midst of two long-running wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, defense officials are increasingly worried that the government’s generosity is unsustainable and that it will leave them with less money to buy weapons and take care of equipment.
[...]
The Pentagon wants a pay raise of 1.4 percent for service members next year, an increase based on the Employment Cost Index, which the Labor Department uses to measure private-sector salary increases. Congress, as it has for the past several years, has indicated it favors a slightly bigger bump, of 1.9 percent. (Source: Media Matters Org — emphasis theirs)
WTF? Of course that caused Broadway Carl to tweet back a response:
Palin is just so sad, ignorant and a pathetic liar.
* Thou Shall Not Steal.
The pagans of the wicked world are filled with the lust of greed and think nothing of robbing, stealing, or cheating to get what they want. (How they got something is not important–that they DO have possession of it is all that counts in their book!) But, God’s People are not to be that way (for theivery is of the Devil–John 10:10). And we are to respect the rights and priviliges given by God to certain people to hold securely the possessions, property, and rights that they do by God’s Law.
UPDATE: In case any one is wondering where Mrs. Know Nothing got her information from, well she linked to Newsmax, her preferred reading material that just happens to have a terrible knack for stretching the truth, who got the story from the Washington Post, who’s story had nothing to do with the President wanting to decrease Soldier’s pay.

The Silent Victims of BP’s Oil Spill
Plenty is being said about the oil spill; but, today I learned three things regarding the matter:
1. The oil spill was caused by methane gas (per BP, oops there goes that conspiracy theory the right wing nuts was trying to rile up as reality):
The deadly blowout of an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico was triggered by a bubble of methane gas that escaped from the well and shot up the drill column, expanding quickly as it burst through several seals and barriers before exploding, according to interviews with rig workers conducted during BP’s internal investigation.
2. The attempt to cover the leak with a concret box failed:
A novel but risky attempt to use a 100-ton steel-and-concrete box to cover a deepwater oil well gushing toxic crude into the Gulf of Mexico was aborted Saturday after ice crystals encased it, an ominous development as thick blobs of tar began washing up on Alabama’s white sand beaches.
3. The silent victims of the oil spill (photos compliments of Think Progress Org):
Yet, we still have to listen to republicans chant a form of drill baby drill for the sake of their corporate sponsors via the political outlet Fox Noise Machine News, that constantly reminds us how we need to keep drilling for our independence and freedom. Which is opposed to all rational thought and reality.
How pathetic.

Polls That Makes Conservatives/Republicans Weep
As of late the bat shit crazy from the right has been on level 2000 and even Beck came off looking like he had a shred of common sense this past week, compared to the right wing media.
But I feel their pain (not) and I know it’s polls like this that makes them want to cry and shoot that bat shit crazy up even higher.
h/t to Steve Benen of the Washington Monthly
Let’s look at this chart in simple terms. The red represent job growth under Bush and the Blue represents job growth under President Obama.
I could hear the right wing nuts wailing, gashing their teeth and moaning from the moment the report was announced.
It’s official, we can now say that right wing nuts have become sick sore losers. Yet, we must prepare ourselves. The above chart also mean the right wing media will be ratcheting up the noise and the racism.

Monkeys Will Be Monkeys (Especially Screaming Monkeys)
What would a conservative monkey be if he or she wasn’t screaming, moaning and fucking groaning?
In the world of conservatives/republicans good things never happen, unless of course, the American people are being screwed by the people the conservatives/republicans are trumpeting for, major corporations.
So the only thing we should take away from the largest monthly increase in payroll in 4 years is the fact that unemployment is 9.9%? Please bitches, give me a damn break. I think instead I’ll be impressed with the fact that the job market is opening up and start considering taking a chance to find a new job.
Question: Why was that racist Buchanan’s opinion even necessary? WTF?

Fox News Host Takes Down Rove’s Claim That Obama Administration Didn’t Respond Fast Enough To Oil Spill
Was this really Faux News? Now I’m starting to feel like I’m in the parallel universe.
How is it that the anchor in the video, Jane Sinner, pushed back on Rove’s ridiculous time line nonsense?
Maybe the message of “stop letting people say any wonky crazy shit,” has finally penetrated Faux News.
But with the likes of Beck, Hannity and O’Reily, I can’t see a long future for this kind of push back occurring on a regular basis.
Although its high time the conservatives put this Katrina comparison to bed. It’s bull shit and everybody knows it.
What Bush did during Katrina can not be rewritten, dismissed, ignored or forgotten.
This oil spill, although a very serious environmental disaster, does not compare to the level of incompetence, ignorance and ineptitude that occurred during the Bush administration. No matter how much the delusional bat shit crazy conservatives wish it did.
